Career Building in Economic Geology Webinar

YES Network Namibia recently hosted a timely and inspiring webinar on Career Building in Economic Geology, in collaboration with the Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA). The session brought together students, early career professionals, and experienced geoscientists for an honest conversation about what it really takes to grow in this field.

One of the strongest elements of the webinar was the balance between early career and senior professional perspectives.

The guest speakers were:

• Mrs. Mary Barton, Principal Economic Geologist at Odikwa Geoservers

Together, they painted a full picture of the career journey, from starting out to building long-term professional credibility.
