Our outreach programs are designed to spark curiosity and bridge the gap between science and society. We bring geoscience into schools and communities across Namibia, using interactive sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to make complex concepts simple, fun, and engaging.
Through initiatives like our Geosciences Information for Teachers (GIFT) workshops and school visits, we empower both educators and learners to see the relevance of earth science in everyday life. From understanding local geology to exploring environmental issues, we aim to inspire a new generation of scientists starting in the classroom and reaching far beyond it.
These outreach efforts don’t just create awareness they build foundations. By supporting teachers with up-to-date content and engaging learners early, we’re cultivating a future where young people see themselves as active contributors to science, sustainability, and national development.
